The Department of History and the CSUDH Bookstore present two Lunchtime Talks with Linda Hervieux, author of Forgotten, from 11:30am to 12:30 Monday, Nov. 14 and Tuesday, Nov. 15 at the CSUDH Bookstore.
In telling the story of D-Day’s black soldiers of the 320th Barrage Balloon Battalion, “Forgotten” offers a vivid account of the tension between racial politics and national service in wartime America and a moving narrative of human bravery and perseverance in the face of injustice.
