Carson’s City officials will lead the community in lighting its giant Christmas Tree in a fun-filled ceremony scheduled for December 2.
The official lighting of the tree will take place at 6:30 p.m. in the atrium of the Congresswoman Juanita Millender-McDonald Community Center located at 801 E. Carson Street in Carson. The tree lighting event is open to the public and admission is free.
The tree lighting ceremony is a tradition observed in the City of Carson for many years and draws participation from the members of the community, especially the young children of Carson. This special event features carolers, light refreshments and a visit from Santa.
