Attorneys, State and County workers, union members and community agencies will facilitate workshops including Dress for Success, Know your Rights under Prop 47, record expungement, job readiness, and résumé building. Over 60 employers representing a dozen industries will be on hand to interview job seekers.

Hundreds of articles of clothing were donated and job seekers will be “Dressed for Success” during the FREE workshops on Wednesday, Sept. 23 and Thursday, Sept. 24.
Professionals will help job seekers build their résumés to become job ready. Qualified attorneys will walk candidates through the process of expunging criminal records and provide information on their rights under Prop 47.
The Saturday Job Fair will feature 60 employers from multiple industries including healthcare, security, office administration, government, and warehousing. There will also be specific services and resources for Veterans. Over 1,000 people are expected.
Assemblymember Mike A. Gipson, District 64, is a key sponsor of the event.
“I am excited job seekers can connect with potential employers at the Carson Job Fair. I am additionally pleased that we can offer preparatory workshops to aid the attendees with vital information and tools that will help them in their search,” he said. Assemblymember Gipson will provide opening remarks on Saturday.”
