The California Department of Housing and Community Development Announces $ 11.3

The California Department of Housing and Community Development
(HCD) announced awards totaling $11.3 million for the creation and renovation of parks and
recreational facilities in 33 communities.
The funding will go to the following California communities:
City of Anaheim
City of Anderson
City of Brea
City of Carson
City of Chula Vista
City of Davis
City of Dublin
City of El Monte
City of Elk Grove
City of Escondido
City of Fremont
City of Hanford
City of Long Beach
City of Los Angeles
City of Merced
City of Oakdale
City of Oakland
City of Pittsburg
City of Porterville
City of Poway
City of Sacramento
City of San Diego
City/ County of San
Francisco
City of San Luis Obispo
City San Ramon
City of Santee
City of South San Francisco
City of Tulare
City of Wasco
County of Los Angeles
County of Sacramento
County of San Luis Obispo
County of Ventura
“HCD is delighted to award funds to this year’s grant recipients,” said HCD Director Linn
Warren. “These local governments have demonstrated a commitment to affordable housing at
a time when the housing market has proven to be a significant challenge for California families
and low wage workers.”
